Chapter 53 Unable to Overturn the heavens

This is not something that could be joked about as one wishes. He hadn’t yet grown up; moreover, he doesn’t even understand anything. As such, how can he assume responsibility for the entire Yun jia?

Yun Bo was startled by Lingxuan’s words.

老谋深算 (lǎomóushēnsuàn): Idiom, rigorous schemes and deep foresight (idiom); astute and circumspect

Seeing previously strong and overbearing Xuan’er transform into such a delicate mannered, a heroic spirit was born in Yun Bo’s heart as he couldn’t help but ask: “Xuan’er tell me, how can fifth brother help? “

 At home, those elder sisters and younger sisters of his had never spoken with him in this manner, which made Yun Bo baffled.    

“To observe mourning for father and mother while keeping Yun jia’s gates closed for three years. For these three years, Yun jia would neither have any guests, nor go out and would only be observing mourning for father and mother… For these three years, all the shops of Yu jia would be managed by fifth elder brother,” Lingxuan said word by word, making Yun Bo’s eyes wide open with fear flashing through them.

**府 (fu): residence or mansion. (Previously it was translated as Yun residence)

Yun Bo was shocked by Lingxuan’s words.

“As for the things left behind by father and mother, I don’t need you to do anything. I only want you to undertake this position, and remember that regardless of whom or what you loathe, dislike, or like, you must be able to be indifferent and cool-headed at all times. And slowly learning to keep the state of mind calm,” Every little bit of things Lingxuan had learned, she shared them with him. 

Both brother and sister pair chatted for a few shichen sitting inside the room. Lin mama wanted to go in several times but was stopped by uncle He at the door, as he did not even take a step aside from there all the time, making Lin mama so angry that she outrightly wanted to curse.

时辰 (shíchen): Time / one of the 12 two-hour periods of the day 

 The eldest young lady and young master Yun Bo have been inside all this while; what are they even discussing? Should she or should she not report this matter to Shangguan fu? For some reason, she has a feeling that whatever eldest young lady wants to do might be perhaps detrimental to Shangguan fu or herself?

When did the relationship between the eldest young lady and Yun fu become this close?  

However, she was also afraid of making a fuss about nothing. Also, what can even two teenagers do? 

The eldest young lady is ten years old while Yun Bo is 15 years old; what wind and waves can they cause?
